PSL 10 Security: Army and Rangers Deployed in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan

In preparation for the much-anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, the Punjab Home Department has officially requested the deployment of Army and Rangers personnel to ensure top-tier security for matches scheduled in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan.

According to credible sources, a formal request has been forwarded to the Federal Ministry of Interior, seeking the services of one wing of Rangers and two companies of the Pakistan Army. These forces will be deployed strategically across the three cities to oversee all PSL-related activities including match days, team movements, and hotel stays.

The Punjab Home Department emphasized the high-profile nature of the tournament, highlighting the participation of international cricketers, match officials, and foreign staff, making it a security-sensitive event. The department reiterated its commitment to implementing foolproof security arrangements during the league to ensure smooth execution without any disruptions.
