LAHORE: Pakistan’s cricket fans can look forward to a star-studded PSL roadshow at Lord’s Cricket Ground, featuring Babar Azam and Wasim Akram.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Thursday that the event at the iconic Home of Cricket aims to celebrate the PSL’s remarkable rise as a global T20 brand.
According to the PCB, the HBL PSL has quickly transformed into one of the most dynamic and commercially successful T20 leagues in the world. With plans to introduce two new teams, the league is drawing strong interest from potential investors across the United Kingdom — highlighting PSL’s expanding global footprint and its solid connection with UK-based cricket communities.
Promoting the event, the PCB announced:
Join us for an exclusive evening featuring Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja & Ali Zafar.
The star-packed lineup guarantees a memorable evening for fans, bringing together celebrated cricketers, a renowned commentator, and a popular singer.
The PSL, which was launched in 2016 with five teams, expanded in 2018 with the addition of Multan Sultans as the sixth team. With the planned introduction of two more teams in the upcoming season, the league will increase to eight franchises, marking its biggest restructuring since Multan Sultans joined.
