Zimbabwe T10 League PCB refuses to give NOC to Pakistani cricketers

LAHORE: (PTV Sports HD) The inclusion of Pakistani cricketers in the Zum Afro T10 League scheduled to start in Harare, Zimbabwe from September 21 has been thrown into doubt as the PCB has refused to issue NOCs to national cricketers.

According to sources, 7 Pakistani cricketers have been selected for Zam Afro League, including Shah Nawaz Dhani, Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Irfan, Sharjeel Khan and Salman Irshad.

Shahnawaz Dhani, Asif Ali and Haider Ali are currently part of the PCB Champions ODI Cup teams in Faisalabad, Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet issued NOC to the national cricketer for the league.

The PCB officials are of the position that Zam Afro T10 League has not yet received approval from ICC, so how can NOC be given? C will not be found.

If PCB sticks to the policy of not giving NOC, then only fast bowlers Mohammad Irfan and Salman Irshad will be able to play in this league as both the players are not part of any PCB contract at the moment.

On the other hand, the spokesperson of Zam Afro T10 League is of the position that the Zimbabwe Cricket Board is a full board member of the ICC and has given permission to conduct the league, so there is no need for the approval of the ICC.
