LAHORE: Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to host a landmark roadshow at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, signalling a bold step in its global growth and expanding commercial footprint.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the exclusive gathering will welcome international investors and passionate cricket followers. The event aims to highlight the league’s impressive journey and future plans.
PCB stated that the HBL PSL has become one of the most dynamic and commercially strong T20 leagues worldwide. With two new teams set to join soon, the league has already drawn substantial interest from potential ownership groups across the United Kingdom, highlighting its rising global appeal.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi stated that the PSL continues to play a pivotal role in shaping Pakistan cricket’s future.
He said:
“HBL PSL is a symbol of ambition and excellence. Hosting the Roadshow at Lord’s — the home of cricket — reflects our mission to elevate Pakistan cricket on the world stage.”
Naqvi added that enthusiasm from the UK market for the new teams further validates the league’s international credibility as a significant opportunity to build long-term partnerships and present our vision for expansion. We eagerly look forward to welcoming investors and cricket lovers in London,” he concluded.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer also praised the league’s global standing and highlighted the importance of hosting a roadshow at such a historic venue.
“HBL PSL has evolved into a world-class cricket league with an immense global following and strong commercial value. By hosting our Roadshow at Lord’s, we aim to bring investors closer to the league’s long-term roadmap, including the exciting prospects of two new teams.”
