LAUDERHILL – The Pakistan national cricket team has officially launched their preparations for the much-anticipated T20I series against the West Indies with a high-intensity training session at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Florida, USA.
Currently touring the United States for a three-match T20I leg, the Men in Green engaged in a rigorous three-hour session under the guidance of the coaching staff. The practice included sharp fielding drills, net sessions, and position-specific training tailored for both batsmen and bowlers.
The day’s training kicked off with warm-up and physical conditioning routines, gradually transitioning into focused net practice. Special attention was given to shot selection, bowling variations, and overall match readiness to ensure peak performance in the upcoming fixtures.
Led by Salman Ali Agha, the Pakistani squad is gearing up to face the West Indies in the series opener on July 31 at the same venue in Lauderhill. Following the T20I leg, the tour will shift to the Caribbean, where Mohammad Rizwan will take over as captain for the three-match ODI series starting August 8 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago.
