English batsman Ollie Pope has created a new history in Test cricket

London: (PTV Sports HD) England cricket team captain Ollie Pope made a unique record in the 147-year history of Test cricket.

Ollie Pope scored a stunning century in the third Test against Sri Lanka at The Oval on Friday, after which he became the first player in the 147-year history of Test cricket to score his first seven Test centuries against seven different nations.

Ollie Pope has played 47 Test matches for England in which he scored 2881 runs with the help of 7 centuries. Ollie Pope before his century against Sri Lanka played in South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Ireland, India and West Indies. Scored a century against one.

Due to the injury of Ben Stokes in the Test series against Sri Lanka, Ollie Pope had taken over the captaincy duties in the series.
