Third ODI: Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 99 runs to win the series
Kamran Ghulam scored a century for Pakistan with a brilliant batting display.
Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 99 runs in the third and deciding ODI played in Bulawayo to win the three-match series 2-1.
Chasing a target of 304 runs set by Pakistan, the entire Zimbabwe team was bowled out for 204 runs. Captain Craig Ervine was the top scorer for Zimbabwe with 51 runs, while Brian Bennett scored 37, Shaun Williams 24, Tadevanshi 24 and Sikandar Raza scored 16 runs.
For Pakistan, Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf and Aamir Jamal took 2 wickets each, while Faisal Akram and Kamran Ghulam took one wicket each.
Earlier, in the third and final ODI match of the series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, Pakistan gave Zimbabwe a target of 304 runs to win.
In the match played in Bulawayo, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first against Zimbabwe. Pakistan scored 303 runs for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
Kamran Ghulam scored a century while batting brilliantly. He scored a century off 99 balls, scoring 103 runs.
While other players, Saim Ayub 31, Abdullah Shafiq 50, Muhammad Rizwan 37, Salman Ali Agha 30 and Irfan Khan returned to the pavilion after scoring 3 runs.
Tayyab Tahir and Aamir Jamal remained not out after scoring 29 and 5 runs respectively.
For Zimbabwe, Sikandar Raza and Richard Nagrwa took 2, 2, while Faraz Akram and Blessing Mazarbani took one wicket each.
